The Ten Tips to being more Truthful
1. Make a commitment to tell the truth.
2. Tell someone about your commitment.

This two tips are similar because one connects to the other

3. Think before you give a dishonest answer, explanation, sarcasm, or reason.
In any argument someone is always going to get agitated and rude words are going to be mentioned, this will create even more dilemma between each other. That is why this quote has so much importance because it can prevent a bigger problem that can lead to irreversible actions.
4. Be careful of when and how you use exaggeration, sarcasm, or irony.
Using any of the previous three terms can result in a lot of problems because they can be used to be rude, make a lie even more credible, or make someone acquire the wrong idea about things. Sarcasm is a way to make people think something is going on when actually it is not.
5. Be careful not to twist the truth or leave out part of it.
Honesty is one of the most important virtues because it leads to trust, and once trust has been acquired it is something that can open many doors in someones life and future. It is hard to tell the truth because it can lead to negative consequences, but it is better to be honest not just with everyone but with yourself, because eventually a lie can be repeated so many times that it will become believable. Once the truth is covered by a lie it will he harder to uncover it once again. The right thing to do is to always be honest even if your voice shakes.

6. Don't indulge in little white lies
What people think is harmless or that it wont affect no one, it will eventually turn into a problem and affect not only the person that was told the lie but also the person who told the lie.
7. Watch out for silent lies.
It is easy to be fooled with a lie, and more since many people are really good at making up stuff and coming up with scenarios that are too vivid to not believe.
8. When you catch yourself lying, throw your mouth into reverse.
It is a good idea to stop a lie at the beginning because it can eventually get bigger and cause many more problems.
9. Talk to yourself
"Self-talk reflects your innermost feelings." -Asa Don Brown

There is no better person to talk with than yourself, you are the one person that understand the situation the best because you yourself were involved. It might be good to talk to other people at times but eventually you can never be safe from your secret spreading around due to that other person. By communicating with your inner self, it is possible to acquire inner peace, by talking to that inside voice all your feelings can be expressed and wonderful things can happen.
10.Treat yourself when you tell the truth.
"Be honest with yourself, and you will find the motivation to do what you advise others to do." -Vince Poscente

Being honest takes a lot of mental strength and determination to choose the right. Once this road of honesty and truthfulness is achieved great things are meant to happen. Many friends might have left your life but those few that stayed are going to be there for you no matter what, that is what being honest grants you.

The 10 Keys to Personal Power
                                   Brian Tracy

Key 1: Clarity
"Have vision. Determine what you want to be, do or have in life. Have a sense of direction and know where you're going. If you do not have clear specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for others who do."

Key 2: Competence
"If you commit to excellence, opportunity will always come your way. The harder you work, the better you get."
This quote is really important because it can be applied in any aspect of life, I personally have applied it during my football practices because i was committed to excellence, i would always push my self a bit more to fix any mistakes i might have done the previous game. I was determined to recognize my own mistakes and reflect on them.

Key 3: Concentration
"Make the best use of your time. Ask yourself "Is this the best use of my time?" before you start anything."

Key 4: Common Sense
  • Train your mind
  • Think things through
  • Listen to your intuition
  • Learn from your setbacks

Key 5: Creativity
"Except the fact that every human being is a genius. The hallmark of creativity is asking questions. The people who are most creative ask the most questions."

Key 6: Consideration
"The quality of your relationship with other people will determine your success in life."
"Develop the the people skills you need to become a better communicator. take course in listening, speaking, etc."
"If you were to learn one new word a day, within 5 years, you'll be the best educated person in history."

Key 7: Consistency
"Dependable, steady predictable work always superior to fast spurts of work."

Key 8: Commitment
"No success is possible without commitment. The ability to commit yourself whole heartily is the basis of achieving all success."

"Become totally absorbed in your work. Be totally committed."

Key 9: Courage
"The fear of failure is the single greatest reason for failure in life."

Key 10: Confidence
"You only get confidence by doing things over and over again."

Reflection
It has been a long journey, but eventually it has come to an end. Previously i have been learning about the 10 keys to personal power, and after reflecting on them and acknowledging the inner meaning i can state that they have benefited me in a positive manner. These 10 keys to personal power are extremely useful, and personally i believe that Key 8: Commitment is really important because in order to unlock the others keys, a great level of commitment needs to be acquired and achieved.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

Habit 1: Be proactive
Habit 2:Begin with the end in mind
Habit 3:
Habit 4:
Habit 5:
Habit 6:
Habit 7:

Habit 1: Be proactive
"Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the driver's seat of my own destiny, not just a passenger."

Being proactive means you are the type of person that will not wait for something to happen but in contrast you are going to take the first step into the outside world and do things yourself. No matter hoe complicated or out of reach something might be if you're proactive, you will find a way to accomplish that task.

Habit 2: Begin with the end in mind
"Control your own destiny or someone else will." (Jack Welch)

Never start a project thinking about all the hard work it is going to require, always keep in mind how it is going to look at the end and everything will be worth the struggle, just stay focused on finishing and actually making it worth it.

Habit 3: Put First Things First
"Organize and execute around priorities."
Let me get started; Life, something more wonderful than what words can describe, since the beginning of someones life things are given. It might come in the form of emotions, or something physical, but the true aspect of this is that at some point a decision in which it might be required to choose something over everything else will come to you. That is when putting first things first comes in handy, it is going to be a harsh decision, because feelings and emotions will come in and create dilution and strong feelings, but once things are placed in the order they need to be, life is going to be way easier. It is a habit that will create tremendous change, because when you are willing to do your homework first, when you are willing to clean before going out, when you are willing to put your responsibility before fun you are on your way to success. There is nothing more to it, just focus on what is really important, and fun will come to you.

Habit 4: Think Win-Win
"Think win-win or no deal."
Always have an optimistic mind, do not think negative or underestimate a situation.

Habit 5: Seek First to understand, then to be understood
"Diagnose before you prescribe."

Habit 6:

Habit 7: Sharpen the saw
Four Dimensions of self-renewal: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social/Emotional
Life is like a machine, in order to make it function many things are needed, not just a motor.
